Lumi’s Christening cake

Lumi's Christening cake

Little Lumi-girl’s Christening cake had sweet little baby shoes, tiny flowers and a bow. Inside was a lactose free strawberry quark filling.

Congratulations to Lumi and her parents!

Football cake

This (slightly more challenging…) cake went to celebrate Johanna’s 18th birthday. Apparently Johanna’s great passions are football (or soccer if you prefer), nail painting and Germany, so the cake was to be a football or a half of one, and on top of it was supposed to be a hand  with nails painted in German flag’s colours. Typical for me, I changed that design to a slightly (ahem) more challenging one, and here’s the result.

Congratulations, Johanna!

A crayfish party can also be held later on in the autumn, and what better way to celebrate than to serve a lobster on top of a cake. This cake’s lobster how ever was a sweet version, with its insides made out of rice crispies treats and shell out of fondant.

Inside the cake was Baileys-filling suited for adults only -parties.
